In the working phase, the internal control of the die castings for Stainless Steel Benches takes place on specific samples. Turning and drilling operations are planned on the sites that will subsequently be processed by the customer. For specific requests, it also uses specific radiological equipment.
During the shearing phase, visual checks are carried out on each item to check the correct shearing on the profile and in particular on the casting attachment areas, the absence of burrs and tears on the external profile and in the holes, and the absence of crushing on the whole surface.
The last visual inspection takes place after the final finishing and sandblasting operations: the verification will concern the absence of dents, the homogeneity of the treated surface and the elimination of the sharp edges and roughness of the Stainless Steel Benches.
Shot blasting can also be used to aesthetically improve the surface of die-cast aluminum parts. Often, in fact, the raw pieces have small surface differences, even from one area to another of the component to be subjected to shot blasting. This is mainly due to the high castability of aluminum, which faithfully follows the mold.
Blasting is therefore used to uniformly and economically remove the small burrs, of reduced thickness, which can form during the die-casting molding step. By subjecting the pieces to blasting, you can get clean pieces with uniform surfaces, both from an aesthetic and visual point of view, and from the point of view of roughness.
The less delicate components can be shot blasted with the automatic loading and unloading system, thus minimizing the costs required for processing.
If, on the other hand, these are more delicate pieces, it is essential to use manual loading and unloading. In this case it will be the job of the operator in charge of the work to prevent the pieces from bumping each other during the phases of the blasting cycle.
For the most delicate components, there is a shot-blasting system with anti-impact effect, normally installed in roller shot blasting machines.
Die casting is a mechanical process of industrial production, which technically consists of injecting liquid metal into a special mold at high pressure. The aim of the treatment is to obtain pieces with very articulated shapes, with low costs and with mechanical characteristics that adapt to the most diverse uses.
The die-casting process is carried out by means of an automatic or semi-automatic work island. It is composed of a press, which has the function of opening and closing the mold.
It is an injection system, aimed at conveying the metal in the mold, through fully adjustable time-speed and pressure parameters. In addition to the press, the die-casting island is formed by interlocking systems, which have the task of loading the molten metal and allowing the mold to cool and lubricate.
