The Easiest Dive Instructor Courses

There are several requirements for candidates who want to become Dive Instructors. A PADI examiner will evaluate the presentations and determine whether the candidate will be successful. These exams are divided into two parts, a knowledge presentation, and a skills presentation. Both tests require the candidate to demonstrate five skills in confined water. In addition, the open water presentation requires the candidate to act as a student. He or she must correct any mistakes made by the student.

Divemaster Course

The Divemaster Course is one of the easiest to complete among the various Dive Instructor Courses. It is usually conducted over three to six days and consists of classroom lessons and practical dives. During the course, students will learn about the basic skills of scuba diving, complete knowledge reviews at the end of each chapter, and take quizzes and final exams.

If you want to become a PADI Divemaster, then you can complete the course online or in a classroom setting. There are some additional expenses you have to bear, though: you will need to purchase the online training code and take a classroom academic session. Also, you must attend a dive skills workshop and take a Divemaster final exam.

Instructor Development Course

The Instructor Development Course (IDC) is one of the easiest dive instructor courses to complete. However, you will need to have completed your divemaster course before taking the IDC. Having completed the divemaster course gives you the confidence needed to take the IDC. The IDC consists of four sections, which must be passed with a minimum score of 75%.

The course lasts approximately two weeks and involves two components: the Instructor Development Course and the Instructor Examination. You will learn about the PADI System and dive theory during the course. You will also prepare to teach an Instructor Course. This course is the capstone of your education as a PADI dive instructor.

IDC internship

The IDC internship is the first step towards becoming a certified dive instructor. During this course, candidates will learn the various programs for teaching scuba divers. They will also learn about the multiple skills necessary to teach these programs. They will also learn how to prepare for the exams. They must pass both the standards and dive theory exams.

The PADI IDC can be taken anywhere in the world. A PADI Course Director teaches it in a larger class setting. The PADI IDC focuses on teaching and problem-solving skills. The course stresses the importance of education and the importance of positive reinforcement. It also emphasizes that mistakes are part of the learning process and should be embraced as an opportunity to improve technique.
