Once that is done, the website will shortlist the closest tradespeople and their rates. These websites will also list customer reviews and the photographs of previous projects. We find this extremely useful as you can compare rates and workmanship and then make an informed decision. Most of these comparison websites will also run a background check on the people listed and you are assured a good deal. If you have a complaint, the website will intervene to ensure both parties are protected.
Online reviews: Online review websites and Google are great ways to find trained workers. However, a word of caution; not all of these reviews are honest and reliable. We recommend reading all the reviews but making an informed decision.
Personal recommendations: Asking around with friends and family will definitely result in several recommendations. However, there is no way to ensure that these workers are reliable and affordable.
